STM Group Plc (AIM: STM), the cross border financial services provider, announces the following changes to its Board of Directors.

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Malcolm Berryman as a Non-Executive Director, which took effect on 1 May 2016. Malcolm is an actuary with extensive experience of the financial services industry. As former group chief executive of Liverpool Victoria and a non-executive on both public and private company boards, Malcolm has expertise in customer facing development, corporate governance, mergers, acquisitions and business transformation activities. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.

The Company also announces that Jonathan Shearman has tendered his resignation as Non-Executive Director, to allow him to spend more time on other commitments. He will step down from the Board on 30 June 2016.

Commenting on the Board changes Alan Kentish, Interim CEO, said: "I am very pleased to welcome Malcolm to the Board and look forward to his contribution given his extensive experience as a former chief executive of a large financial services organisation and his public company exposure.

"I am equally disappointed to be announcing Jonathan's resignation and we wish him every success in the future. The Board would like to thank him for his significant contribution during his time on the Board.

"To support STM's ongoing growth strategy and strengthen the Group's corporate governance structure, a further non-executive director is expected to be appointed in the coming months to complement the new Board composition."

I hope to bring my experience of growing financial services based businesses to supplement the in depth product and markets experience of the existing Board."

Mr Berryman has no interest in any ordinary shares or options in the Company.
